The TV series was popular in the 90s and one of the stand out characters was that of Ramota wife of chief Jegede. The actress who played the role of Ramota, Veronica Njoku died on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
Confirming her death to Sky Trend News, another New Masquerade alumnus Tony Akposheri who played the role of Zacchaeus said, “Yes, it is true that Veronica Njoku is dead.”
