Mohamed Salah finally reacts to Sergio Ramos tackle in the Champions League, sends heartbreaking message to the Real Madrid captain

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has finally broken his silence on the nightmare he had in the Champions League final against Spanish club Real Madrid in Kiev.

The Egypt international was injured in the first half of the game after a tackle from Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and was unable to finish the first 45 minutes.

Mohamed Salah has now claimed that Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos may have deliberately injured him during the Champions League final.

When Mohamed Salah was asked if Sergio Ramos intentionally injured him, he told Marca according to UK Sun that:“I do not know. Maybe?

“When I fell to the ground, I had a mixture of physical pain and a lot of worry, also anger and sadness for not being able to continue playing the Champions League final.

“Moments later, I also thought about the possibility of losing the World Cup and that was a devastating thought.

“I’m better now. I hope to play the first game against Uruguay, but that will depend on how I feel when the match is approaching,”.

Salah was also quizzed on Ramos’ suggestion that he could have played the rest of the game if he had a painkilling injection.

“My comment is that it’s always okay when the one who made you cry first, then makes you laugh.

“Maybe you could also tell me if I’m going to be ready for the World Cup?”

Mohamed Salah had a tussle with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos which resulted to a shoulder injury and the Egypt international had to leave the pitch in pain just 30 minutes into the game.
