Manchester United have been linked with a move for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. According to reports, the Old Trafford side have made the Belgian a priority in the summer as they are looking to solve their finishing woes.

The Reds are also looking for a replacement to injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic whose future is uncertain at the club as his contract expires in the summer.

Lukaku is the top goal-scorer in the Premier League netting 24 times in 35 appearances for the Toffees.

The Guardian (UK) reports that the big Belgian has been put ahead of Atleti’s Antonnie Griezmann on the priority list for United in the summer.

Sources reveal that Lukaku rejected a whopping £120,000-per-week deal to continue at Goodison park as the striker wants to play in the Champions League.

Perhaps, United do not qualify for the competition by winning the Europa League, Chelsea could emerge as favourite to land the Belgian.

The Blues are also in the bid for the Premier League’s top-scorer after the club sold him to the Toffees in 2014 for £28m.
