Diego Costa set to become world’s highest paid player with move to China

Rumours surrounding Diego Costa and a move to China have refused to go away and it seems the transfer will go ahead. The player met with super agent Jorge Mendes who is believed to be in the process of brokering a deal. Chinese side, Tianjin Quanjian have been persistent in their pursuit of the Chelsea forward and are willing to offer him £620K a week to swap the spotlight of European football for the riches of Asia.
The club managed by Fabio Cannavaro believe they have an agreement in principle to complete a stunning £75million deal for the Chelsea forward this summer having failed with an attempted swoop in January and they are confident of landing the player.
