Caligara’s first involvement in the game sees him slide into the back of Busquets and send the Barcelona midfielder crashing to the ground with a hefty challenge. Unsurprisingly, he’s shown a yellow card.
Higuain, who has had a really tough evening, makes way for 17-year-old Fabrizio Caligara, who comes on to make his Juventus debut.
Sandro tries to keep the ball in play deep down the right flank after being put under pressure by Paulinho, but he’s unable to do so and gives away a corner. It’s fired in by Messi and towards the near post, but Bernardeschi is there to clear the danger without too many problems.
Barcelona have made a late alteration, with Andre Gomes coming on take the place of Iniesta.
Off the line by Pique! The resulting corner is curled over to the far post and right onto the head of Benatia. The centre-back goes incredibly close to heading a goal back for Juventus after beating Ter Stegen, but Pique is there to chest the ball away at the vital moment. The visitors all scream for a handball, but the referee isn’t at all interested and waves play on.
Dybala goes close! Juventus keep pushing forward as they continue trying to find a way back into the game. Dybala gets himself into a good position 20 yards out and unleashes a lovely bouncing shot, but Ter Stegen is there to tip it round the post with a decent diving save.
Semedo clumsily loses out over on the left flank and allows Dybala to break forward swiftly. The Argentine do so and then attempts to pick out Higuain, but his pass is underhit and easily dealt with by Umtiti.
Huge let off for Buffon! Alba breaks down the left flank and gets himself into a good position before fizzing a dangerous pass across the face of goal. It should be easily dealt with by Buffon, but the veteran goalkeeper fumbles the ball straight into the path of Suarez. The striker quickly fires in what looks to be Barcelona’s fourth goal of the night, but the linesman’s flag is rightly raised just as he’s about to celebrate.
Paulinho comes on to take the place of Rakitic for the final 13 minutes of the game.
Costa, who has been very quiet since the break, twists and turns deep down the left flank as he gets the better of Roberto. He then cuts inside and works the ball over to Bernardeschi, who quickly shoots from the edge of the box but can’t get the better of Ter Stegen with his slightly scuffed strike.
Pjanic catches Roberto as the substitute tries to sprint through the middle of the pitch on a marauding run, leaving the referee with no choice but to show him a yellow card.
Juventus try to push forward over on the right flank as they attempt to find a way back into the game, but they seem to lack the belief and intensity needed to find a way through on goal, and Barcelona are easily able to deal with the danger.

It was Iniesta who set up Messi to counter-attack quickly, but, once again, that was all about the Argentine. He’s on absolute fire at the moment and is causing all sorts of problems for the visitors’ fragile back line.
Dembele receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he’s replaced by Sergi Roberto.
Messi does a number on Buffon – again.
GOAL! Absolutely excellent from Messi once again! The Argentine skips through the middle of the box on a wonderful run as he breaks towards the penalty area. He easily skips past two defenders and gets a shot away from the edge of the box, and it’s one that flies straight into the bottom right-hand corner of the net to make it 3-0.
An attempted Juventus attacking move fails to come to anything, and Barcelona counter-attack quickly. Dembele darts down the right wing on a promising run before trying to pick out Messi, but the youngster can’t find the Argentine and the visitors are just about able to hold on.
What a chance for Suarez to make it 3-0! A beautiful bouncing cross from Alba bobbles into the middle of the Juventus penalty area and picks out Suarez, who quickly shoots but can’t hit the target with his first-time, side-footed half-volley.
A deep cross in from a corner fails to pick out a team-mate inside the Barcelona box, but Bernardeschi does well to pick up the ball over on the right flank. He quickly cuts onto his left foot and shoots, and his curling effort sails not too far wide of the goal.
Juventus have made their first change of the night, with Bentancur making way for Federico Bernardeschi.
Messi steps up and unleashes a curling strike that heads towards the top left-hand corner of the net, but Buffon is there to push the effort away without too many problems.
Juve’s Rodrigo Bentancur puts pressure on Barca defender Samuel Umtiti.
A few moments after being dragged to the ground on the edge of the Juventus box without being awarded a free-kick, Dembele eventually picks one up after Andrea Barzagli hauls him to the ground. What will Messi be able to do with this set-piece?
Barzagli has a few angry words for the referee, and he becomes the latest player to receive a yellow card for dissent.
Dybala is left all alone as he charges deep into the Barcelona half of the pitch. He does well to reach the edge of the penalty area and then quickly shoots, but his effort is easily blocked by both Umtiti and Pique before it can test Ter Stegen.

GOAL! Rakitic doubles Barcelona’s lead! Messi is left in acres of space over on the right flank, allowing him to dart forward and cut inside before fizzing a pass across the face of goal.
