Woman spends at least 23 years growing the world’s longest fingernails, now officially part of the Guinness World Records 2018 edition
A nail artist based in Houston, Texas, Ayanna Williams has earned her a place in the Guinness World Records 2018 Edition for having the world’s longest fingernails.
Her nails, each of which is just under two foot long, took 23 years to grow after she was first inspired by a friend. According to Ayanna, she will continue to grow the extremely long fingernails which can take up to one week to paint, even though it is quite hard for her to pull up her trousers.
In order to take care of her nails, Ayanna uses anti-bacterial soap and a nail brush to clean them daily. To help them grow, she regularly applies hardener and a thin layer of acrylic.
