Russia 2018 : Croatia coach, Suker, wary of Eagles

Croatia head coach , Zlatko Dalic says he is wary of the young Super Eagles squad handled by Gernot Rohr.
Reacting to the outcome of the 2018 FIFA World Cup draw which pits his team in Group D along side Nigeria, Argentina and Iceland, Dalic told Croatian Football Federation official site that he would have to analyze the three time African Champions in details before the World Cup kicks off next summer.
“We have to analyse Nigeria in detail, yet we are aware that they have finished the qualifying round without a single defeat. They are a very young team led by a German coach.
“It is an immense pleasure and honour just to be among the 32 best teams in the world, but Croatia deserves this. The draw ceremony was beautiful, and the outcome could have been better and could have been worse.
“The most important thing is to have our players fit and at the top level”, Dalic said.
In the same vein Croatian legend and France 1998 golden boot winner, Davor Suker has described Nigeria Super Eagles as a team that has quality even as he lamented that he is the dark about the pedigree of the African giants.
Suker, who is the President of the croatian Football Federation, dubbed the group as one of the toughest groups at the World Cup.
“Nigeria remain a bit unknown, but for sure they have quality, considering their qualifying record.
“This is probably the toughest group at the World Cup, all teams are very much respectable. Moreover, what can we say about facing Lionel Messi, who can make a deciding move in any match.
