This picture just reminded me of an occurrence last two days at Ekwulobia.

Do you know what happened? I no know you don’t know and you will love to know, your ear don dey scratch u. I wee tell u. Cool down joooorr, amebo!

I was at Ekwulobia roundabout, (Igboukwu-Nnewi road to be precise) two days ago waiting for a friend. I was waiting patiently. The enticing smell of ofe akwu oozing out from the kitchen mini restaurant near where I stood kept me company. I didn’t even feel d stress standing for hours. I was busy with my phone, looking around to know what I wee gossip with, but I no find. Then…..a scene was staged.

A little girl just like the one I have on the pictures came around with a tray (filled with waterproof wrapped ukwa) innocently placed on her head. Psychologically judging from her facial expression, she was troubled….in fact, trouble is troubling her. (I was very close to the place where Nnewi bus was loading). The girl innocently went to one of the drivers to make an enquiry, u knw nah, normal normal, my ears were there already. The girl asked her of one of “their men” that sells tickets to them. The driver in response told the girl that the man must have gone home. For me, the man has “ran away”. Immediately the girl heard this, she bursted out crying, I was wondering what her problem was. Was the man he is looking for her boyfriend?

I kept on wondering, some passengers inside the half loaded bus felt same too. It was later that I, in fact we, discovered that the man in question bought a #100 worth of ukwa from the girl on credit, telling the girl to come back later and take her money, only for him to flee. The thunder that will fire him is on two months IT, till it returns.
What a shame? Tufiakwa!

People were blaming the girl for concurring to such type of sales, but with her explanation, the man really brainwashed the little girl. She was crying bitterly that her aunty will kill her if she should return back home without the complete money. Poor her! I really wept inside.

Though the girl was later settled and she left happily, but I, we are not happy. With the curses people were throwing to that man in question, I pity him and his generation. May God forgive him.

I don gossip finish. Amebo, hope say u read taya?
#kambiakwa.
