Deeply saddened by the passing away of Kofi Annan. One of the true global leaders of our age. A man of courage, wisdom and friendship. I’m honored to have had the privilege of working for him.

Oh no! So sad to hear Kofi Annan has died. A national opinion poll in August 2008 had Kenyans vote him as the most popular person for Kenyans after he brokered the peace talks that ended the Post Poll violence. May he rest in peace.

“To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there.” Kofi Annan. The world has lost a great leader and role model today.
