Buhari Kuku Take More Breaks?

Reno Omokri, the former special adviser on new media to immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan believes that the federal government has been more active since President Muhammadu Buhari went on holiday.

Omokri made this assertion in series of tweets he posted on his official Twitter handle (@renoomokri) on Wednesday, June 15.

During this period of Buhari’s 10 days’ vacation from national duties, the federal government led by Vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has lunched the N-Power project meant to train 500,000 unemployed graduates in teaching profession.

Also the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, had on June 15, announced the float of the naira, declaring that the flexible exchange rate which will henceforth be determined by the market.

Hence, Omokri was asking if the president should be allowed to embark on more vacations.

Reno Omokri believes that the federal government has been more active since President Muhammadu Buhari went on holiday ten days back.

He however disagreed with the federal government approach towards the agitations for a Biafra state in the South-East.

According to him, the government should do what United Kingdom did to Scotland by petting the Igbos and developing their regions.

Osinbajo was handed power by President Muhammadu Buhari after the latter proceeded on 10 days’ vacation to London for medical reasons on Sunday, June 6.

He was expected back into the country today, June 16, but according to Osinbajo, Buhari will be back on Sunday, June 19, so that he can take the weekend off.
