‘Agents OF S.H.I.E.L.D’ star Powers Boothe dies at 68
Award-winning American Actor, Powers Boothe, known for his remarkable roles in ‘Sin City,’ ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,’ and ‘Deadwood,’ has died at the age of 68. According to his publicist, Karen Samfilippo, she said the actor passed away Sunday of natural causes in his sleep at his Los Angeles home.
His family will hold a private service in Texas and they’re also considering a memorial celebration.
Boothe who found fame in 1980, after playing Jim Jones in the CBS-TV movie Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones has acted in over 40 movies and was in 2009 inducted alongside Billy Bob Thornton in the Texas Film Hall of Fame.
